The true cost of ignoring maintenance
The most common failures are quiet ones — and they run for days before anyone notices.
A restaurant owner in JLT came to us in a panic. His booking form had been broken for 11 days. He'd been paying for Google Ads the whole time — AED 4,000 a month — sending people to a broken form. He had no idea anything was wrong until a regular customer mentioned it in passing.
“I was spending AED 4,000 a month on ads and sending people to a broken form. I have no idea how many bookings I lost. And the worst part is I could have known about it on day one if someone had been watching.”
— Restaurant Owner, JLT Dubai
What we cover
Eight areas of ongoing care
Your website's security is not a one-time setup. Every week, vulnerabilities are discovered in WordPress core files, plugins, themes, and server software. That patch only protects you if it's applied — an unpatched plugin with a known vulnerability is an open door.
Real example
A professional services firm in DIFC came to us after their WordPress site was compromised through an outdated plugin. Their website was silently injecting spam links invisible to visitors but visible to Google.
By the time they noticed, their domain had been blacklisted by Google Safe Browsing and their rankings had collapsed. Recovery took six weeks of intensive work. Three months of preventative maintenance would have cost a fraction of that.
What's included
- Weekly malware scanning and suspicious code injection detection
- Immediate alerts if anything unusual is detected — not waiting for the weekly report

- SSL certificate monitoring with proactive renewal — no expired certificate warnings
- Two-factor authentication and login hardening against brute-force attacks
- Monthly security audit reports showing your site's current security posture
- Malware removal and site restoration if a breach occurs — covered within the agreement
Support plans
Three tiers of ongoing care
Every plan includes the foundation — security, backups, updates, monitoring, and reporting. Pricing is quoted individually after the technical audit because a 5-page brochure site and a 2,000-product WooCommerce store are not the same maintenance commitment.

Why XDigital
Why businesses in Dubai choose us for maintenance
We respond when it matters
Response time is everything when something is broken. A 48-hour support ticket turnaround is not support — it's a placeholder. Every plan has a defined response time and we honour it. Our clients have direct access to a real person via WhatsApp, not a ticketing system they submit into and hope.
We fix root causes, not symptoms
When a plugin conflict causes a page to break, the symptom is a broken page. The cause is a plugin updated without testing against your specific environment. We fix the page and investigate the cause — so we know whether to expect the same issue again and what to do about it.
We maintain websites we didn't build
We don't require that you've been our client from day one. If you have an existing website that needs proper ongoing care, we'll audit it, tell you what we find honestly, and take it on if it's appropriate to do so. No arbitrary exclusions.
We're transparent about what we do
Every maintenance action is logged. Every month you receive a report showing exactly what happened, what was found, and what was done. You are never paying a monthly fee and wondering what you're getting for it.
We know the Dubai market
The UAE's data protection laws, the local hosting environment, Arabic language support requirements, the regulatory context for certain sectors — our maintenance team understands this context and applies it. We're not a remote team working in a vacuum.
Client results
What our clients say
“Before XDigital, I was managing my website maintenance myself — which meant it wasn't really being managed at all. I'd go three or four months without updating anything and then panic when something broke. Having a team who handles it for me means I literally never think about it, and it's always fine when I do.”
Founder
Dubai Consulting Firm
“Our checkout broke on a Friday afternoon in the middle of our busiest week. XDigital had it fixed in under two hours. We didn't even lose a full day of sales. I don't want to imagine what that situation would have looked like without the support agreement in place.”
E-Commerce Director
Dubai Fashion Brand
“The monthly report they send is the first maintenance report I've ever actually read. It tells me what happened in plain English, what they did about it, and what I should be thinking about next. It feels like being looked after properly rather than just having a line item on the budget.”
Operations Manager
Abu Dhabi Professional Services Firm
“They took on our website that was built by someone else and immediately found three security issues we had no idea about. The fact that they told us everything they found, including things that weren't their fault, told me they were the right team to trust with it.”

How we onboard
Starting a maintenance relationship properly
Step 01
Week 1
Technical Audit
We conduct a full audit covering hosting environment, plugin and theme versions, backup system status, security scan results, performance baseline, Google Search Console review, and SSL/domain status. We document everything and present findings clearly. If issues need resolving before standard maintenance begins, we scope those separately.
Step 02
Weeks 1–2
Onboarding & Access Setup
We set up secure access to all required systems — hosting control panel, WordPress admin, domain registrar, Google Search Console, and any other relevant platforms. We configure monitoring tools, backup systems, and security scanning. We test the restoration of the first backup.
Step 03
Month 1
First Month Baseline Pass
The first month always includes a more detailed pass — applying any deferred updates carefully, resolving issues identified in the audit, and establishing the normal state of the site so we can spot deviations from it going forward.
Step 04
Month 2 onwards
Regular Monthly Cycle
From month two, maintenance runs on a regular monthly cycle with a report delivered in the first week of each month covering the previous month's activity, findings, actions taken, and recommendations for the month ahead.
