The Challenge
A Series A fintech startup running on a 6-year-old PHP monolith. 4.2s average load times, a Lighthouse score of 61, and a 1.8% conversion rate on their primary landing flow. Their engineering team had grown around the legacy system and couldn't safely ship new features without risking production.
The Solution
Full replatform to Next.js 14 (App Router) with Supabase as the backend. We architected a clean separation between the marketing site and the authenticated app, implemented ISR for the public-facing pages, and rebuilt the entire checkout and onboarding flow with React Hook Form and Stripe. Deployed on Vercel with zero-downtime migrations.
